How a Briks roofer job actually runs.

Inspection first. Active leaks need a roofer on the roof — not a guess from the ground. We photograph the fault and the surrounding roof so the quote is line-by-line.

Storm damage gets make-safe within 24 hours. Tarps, temporary patching, water diversion. Full repair is scoped after the property is stable, photographed for the insurer.

Tile re-pointing uses flexible polymer pointing, not the old cement ridge that cracks at the first hot summer. Re-bedding where bedding has failed underneath.

BLD roof plumber license
Roof plumbers (metal roofs, gutters, flashings) hold a current SA Builders License (BLD) for plumbing-roof work. Re-roofing and structural roof work is licensed.
Working-at-heights ticket
Every Briks roofer holds a current Working-at-Heights ticket. Harness, anchor, and fall-arrest setup mandatory on every job above 2m — including small repairs.
$20M public liability
Roofers on the bench carry $20M public liability minimum (vs $10M baseline) — reflecting the risk of working above other people's property.
